The Memory of Suncheon depicts the realm of nostalgia within a virtual setting. Drawing from recollections of moments shared with my grandmother, the animated house serves as a tangible manifestation of these cherished memories.

Nostalgia, with its ability to transport us to bygone times, subtly distorts reality within this imaginative space. The discrepancy between memory and reality emphasizes the subjective nature of memory through the embellished objects.

The virtual realm encapsulated within a snow globe represents the fragility and transience of memory. Like the swirling flakes confined within its glass, the essence of nostalgia is captured but remains ephemeral, subject to the passage of time and the whims of perception. The Memory of Suncheon is not a replication of the past, but a divergence between memory and reality.
