The concept of the "flopping Manual" conveys the magazine's multiplicity through dynamic composition. The treatment for books is more restrained and straightforward, providing a contrast to the other visually intricate images yet maintaining a sense of physicality through the use of shadow and a wall element. For digital publications, I developed an illustration of a book to convey the notion that the content had readable text in a digital format. By adding a colored background to the image, it was set apart from the physical materials and contributed to a diverse visual experience when combined on a web page.
I worked for the RISD Museum as a creative production assistant, involved in working on the publication page within the Art & Design section and identifying issues with the current website while generating ideas for improvements. This assignment focused on developing a fresh visual identity for each publication format that would effectively capture its unique characteristics. The visuals needed to convey to viewers the content, context, and format clearly while also sparking excitement and interest to engage the audience. The publication page was divided into:
1) Manuals (RISD Museum's magazine containing exhibition articles written by curators, with each issue having different themes)
2) Books (published by the RISD Museum)
3) Digital Publications (external web pages curating artworks related to exhibitions).

Another project I worked on involved creating a new lobby screen display designed to provide visitors with a quick overview of the museum's collections and relevant information. Presented in a grid format, the display offers a variety of selections for visitors to explore. Upon selection, the display zooms in to provide detailed information about specific artworks, accompanied by typography explaining admission fees and directions.
Throughout my time at the RISD Museum, I also assisted in filming footage for various exhibitions, including "Nancy Prophet: I Will Not Bend an Inch," as well as for documenting new museum acquisitions, events, and online contents. Additionally, for the Nancy Prophet exhibition, I had the honor of participating as one of the panelists in the "Critical Encounters: Nancy Elizabeth Prophet's Life and Legacy" symposium.
To fully utilize the benefits of using two vertical monitors, typography and artwork images seamlessly transition between the left and right panels, creating an engaging and dynamic viewing experience for visitors.
